Wayne Dyksen

Wayne Dyksen is a Professor of Computer Science at Michigan State University.

Professor Dyksen teaches the computer science senior capstone course and an undergraduate course in computer security.

Dyksen's research interests includes computational humanities, cyber security, and high performance computing. He has obtained funding of over $3M to support both teaching and research.

Professor Dyksen joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at MSU in 2001. Previously, he was a member of the faculty of the Department of Computer Sciences at Purdue University for sixteen years.

Dyksen is a member of the Board of Directors of West Michigan Tech Talent. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors of the College of Information Technology of the United Arab Emirates University.

Dr. Dyksen holds a B.A. in mathematics from Calvin College along with an M.S. and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Purdue University.
