Scenario Descriptions

Scenario 1

This scenario shows where the user tries to enable the TJA system when the vehicle is on a limited access highway if ACC is already enabled.

Scenario 2

This scenario shows where the user's vehicle was at the set distance from the target vehicle going the same speed, and the target vehicle slows down. Thus the user vehicle must slow down as well.

Scenario 3

When detected vehicles are moving above 35 mph (approx. 56.3 km/h), the TJA system is disabled within 0.5 seconds.

Scenario 4

This scenario shows when the vehicle has been stopped for more than 30 seconds and the driver must re-engage the TJA system. After re-engaging the vehicle will start moving again if traffic moves.

Scenario 5

If the target vehicle is detected to be going slower than the user's vehicle, the user vehicle will start to slow down once it's within a certain distance where a constant deceleration will have the user vehicle reach the same speed, as the target vehicle, once it reaches the set distance from the target vehicle.

Scenario 6

This demonstrates a scenario where the target vehicle is stopped, thus the user's vehicle must come to a stop at the set distance from the target vehicle.

Scenario 7

This demonstrates a scenario where traffic is stopped, then starts moving again.

Scenario 8

This scenario allows you to see what will occur with your desired set speed and set sistance, which you will input on the screen shown below.
