CSE wins several awards at the International Joint Conference on Biometrics

The International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB) was held in Clearwater Beach, Florida from Sep 29 to Oct 2. CSE researchers won several awards at this event:

1. Anil Jain received the Senior Biometrics Investigator Award (SBIA)

2. The paper "Periocular Biometrics in the Visible Spectrum: A Feasibility Study" by Unsang Park, Arun Ross and Anil Jain (published in BTAS 2009) received the 5-year Highest Impact Paper Award. This award is given to a BTAS 2009 paper that has the highest number of citations thus far.

3. The paper "Automatic Adaptation of Fingerprint Liveness Detector to New Spoof Materials" by Ajita Rattani and Arun Ross received one of the Best Voted Poster awards.

4. Anil Jain received one of the Best Reviewer awards.
