Jain, Flynn, and Ross publish Handbook of Biometrics

The Handbook of Biometrics -- an edited volume by prominent invited researchers in biometrics -- describes the fundamentals as well as the latest advancements in the burgeoning field of biometrics. It is designed for professionals, practitioners and researchers in biometrics, pattern recognition, and computer security.

The book is edited by Anil K. Jain, Patrick J. Flynn (PhD ’90), and Arun Ross (PhD ’03). Flynn is a professor of computer science and engineering at Notre Dame University and Ross is an assistant professor of computer science and electrical engineering at West Virginia University. Flynn and Ross are both former PhD students of Anil Jain.
