Jain among most highly cited
Dr. Anil Jain is now included on ISI’s most highly cited authors list (isihighlycited.com). According to ISI, individuals on the highly cited list comprise less than one-half of one percent of all publishing researchers.In another ranking based on Google Scholar citation collections, Dr. Jain ranked 10th among computer scientists who have an h-index of 40 or higher.
UC San Diego Professor Jorge E. Hirsch developed the h-index as a single metric that incorporates the number of publications and citations. For example, researchers with an h-index of 40 have published at least 40 papers that have each been cited at least 40 times. There are only about 100 computer scientists with an h-index of 40 or higher.
